Honey Month

Every year in Western Australia we continue to promote and educate to the general public the importance of bees and beekeepers.  The roles they play in sustainability and how you can be part of this by planting bee friendly gardens, minimizing pesticide use, supporting activities that the industry is part of such as campaigning for better management of our resources to ensure the future of this important industry.

We encourage businesses to get involved for the month of May to promote bees and honey.  Restaurants and bars to use honey in their cooking, libraries to invite beekeepers to facilitate educational sessions to inspire.  The options are endless.
